This lady is a pro! Making tamales for birthday parties, holidays, and fundraisers. Everyone loves her recipe.

Mama Lupe was born in the city of Coalcoman, located in the Sierra Madre del Sur, the Southwest region of the state of Michoacan in central-west Mexico. She has been making tamales since she was a kid.

Mama Lupe began her dream when she moved to this beautiful country...while working for a packaged food company for 25 years, she always made time to make tamales for co-workers and friends.

Today, you can find her and her seven children alongside one another perfecting what they do best...perfecting the art of tamale making! Her passion, her joy.
